Situated on the monumental Priddy’s Hard, Explosion Museum of Naval Firepower boasts incredible views across the naval dockyard and the Solent beyond. Here, an exciting selection of sites awaits for each stage of your special day, all of which are available for exclusive hire. First built in 1771, the Grand Magazine is perhaps the venue’s most illustrious space, easily accommodating 150 for the ceremony and wedding breakfast. In this dignified open space, you can invite an additional 30 for a standing reception embraced by Georgian wood floors and a vaulted ceiling. What’s more, the room is divided, allowing you to move seamlessly from the ceremony to the reception without breaking the flow of the day. Elsewhere, museum galleries beckon guests to explore and discover while you take advantage of the unique backdrops for your wedding photos.
