Through our comprehensive consultation process, we learn what’s important to each couple and understand the emotions (not to mention money, time and effort) they’re putting into their big day, and therefore, how we can best help them. As a result, we are able to design stunning bespoke arrangements that are immensely personal to each and every client – even those who didn’t think the flowers were important. It is our belief that everyone deserves stunning wedding flowers, whatever their budget. We cater for weddings from £500-£5000+ and always strive to meet our clients’ budgets, always finding solutions to enhance designs but not the fee.

Why Choose Florescence?

We have 15 years’ experience. But what does that mean? We know our stuff! An inexperienced florist is likely to provide flowers and foliage that may not be suitable for the purpose. We’ve heard awful horror stories about flowers wilting on the day, poorly balanced arrangements falling over or even arrangements containing candles catching fire! It takes years and years to learn how to handle all the thousands of different varieties of flowers and foliage. With our experience, these terrible things simply don’t happen.

No copying! We don’t just copy other florists’ designs from someone else’s wedding on Pinterest. It’s so important that you feel we have taken the time to really explore ideas with you and come up with a bespoke design personal to you, as close as possible to your budget. In over a decade of trading, we’ve never made the same bouquet twice and we haven’t got it wrong. Ever.

We’re SO organised! Is it your worst nightmare that your suppliers don’t turn up on the day or forget about you? We know how important your wedding is and we keep in touch throughout the process so you know we haven’t forgotten you. So many of our clients tell us that their flowers were the one thing they didn’t worry about. We genuinely care that our clients feel relaxed about their flowers so we take steps to reassure and touch base. Some florists consider weddings very stressful, but we don’t. (Perhaps they’re less organised?) Weddings are what we do, with ease. We’re specialists. We run an exceptionally well-oiled machine. A seamless operation.

Freshest, highest quality stock. A cheaper florist may use older, poor quality stock. Cutting costs this way just doesn’t pay. You get what you pay for and arrangements and bouquets will look the worse for it. At Florescence, our amazing suppliers go directly to the growers so cut out the middlemen, saving time and ensuring fresher stock. You cannot buy fresher or higher quality stock than we use. We only use the best.

We’re as green as can be! All our green waste is composted locally; all cellophane packaging we buy stock in is re-used and we don’t buy or use any new cellophane in our packaging. We use recycled rainwater and keep our trips to the flower market to a minimum to save on fuel and emissions. We also use biodegradable floral foam.

A touch of finesse! Your wedding is so special and so important – to you and to us. (If it wasn’t important to us, we wouldn’t be in business!) Do you want your bouquets brought to you in a plastic bucket or a brown cardboard box on the day? We thought not. This is what some florists do. At Florescence, we present your bouquets in beautiful elegant white boxes, lined with lots of soft tissue paper, with all the bouquets, buttonholes and corsages labelled and personalised to your wedding party. Our finishing touches are so important and will make you feel a million dollars on your day.

Full venue set-up. A florist that doesn’t care, might have several deliveries to do, only caring about the quantity of jobs they’ve done and not the quality of their work or how they’ve made their clients feel. With Florescence, dedicated time is allocated to your wedding to set it up properly and perfectly, making sure every leaf and petal is in place. So everything is pristine and perfect for your big day.
