As you arrive through the ornate wrought-iron gates, New Place never fails to impress. This grade 1 listed Manor House is a true masterpiece of brickwork; a home that combines Tudor and Elizabethan eccentricities with subtle, moderns touches.

Fittingly, the home was commissioned as a wedding gift, designed and built by the famous British architect, Sir Edwin Lutyens. He merged the interior of an existing 17th century property with his own signature style. The results are nothing short of spectacular. To this day, the Manor House remains a place of breath-taking beauty and historic grandeur providing a stunning backdrop for your wedding imagery, ample outside spaces and a dedicated, creative team. New Place can cater to all styles of wedding and with our flexible approach, we will ensure your dreams are realised.

Whether it’s your wedding reception, your ceremony or both, we’ll make sure your day is as individual, exciting and memorable as you have always dreamed. Seating up to 85 guests in our manor house for your ceremony or up 110 for the ceremony and wedding breakfast and 150 guests for the evening reception in the exclusive Arden Suite.

We only ever hold one wedding each day, so you a guaranteed to have the spotlight on just you and your guests for the entirety of your special day. The warmth and personality of our venue makes for a unique setting in which to delight your guests. Your guests can relax and unwind in one of our 110 spacious en-suite bedrooms where those home comfort are never far away.
